DAGGER UGV is an indigenously designed and developed tracked Unmanned Ground Vehicle, representing India’s growing strength in self-reliant defence technologies. The platform has been conceived with the primary objective of enhancing soldier safety, operational effectiveness, and battlefield superiority, in alignment with the national vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

Compact in form yet powerful in capability, DAGGER UGV is capable of remotely engaging enemy threats while keeping Indian soldiers at a safe stand-off distance, thereby significantly reducing risk to human life in high-threat combat environments. Designed to function as a trusted extension of the soldier on the battlefield, it enables decisive action without direct exposure to enemy fire.

DAGGER UGV has been developed to undertake critical roles including Surveillance, Logistics Movement, and Casualty Evacuation. The system has successfully completed operational readiness trials and has demonstrated exceptional reliability across India’s most challenging terrains including Rajasthan deserts, Ladakh and Leh-Ladakh high altitudes, Jammu & Kashmir mountains, and Arunachal Pradesh’s rugged regions.

It is a matter of national pride that DAGGER UGV is currently deployed and operationally employed by Para Special Forces, supporting missions where technological superiority and reliability are critical.

Convoy & Follow-Leader Capability:
DAGGER UGV can operate in convoy mode alongside troops and manned vehicles, maintaining formation and pace during operations. It also features a Follow-Leader mode, enabling autonomous movement by following a designated soldier or vehicle, reducing operator workload and enhancing operational efficiency.
